NEXT STEPS
Earlier this year, Forest City submitted an Environmental Evaluation Application to the San Francisco Planning Department, initiating the 5M Project's environmental review process.
Over the next three years, we will work with City departments, local community services and schools, neighborhood residents, and our current 5M partners to further define key aspects of the long term development project — environmental reviews, design reviews, workforce and affordable housing solutions, and the realization of the overall 5M mission. We will continue engaging this broad range of stakeholders through interviews, focus groups, community meetings, hearings, and events at 5M. These inputs help ensure that 5M becomes a place that represents and includes the diverse and complex set of vibrant cultures that surround the site.
