INTERSECTION FOR THE ARTS | "Every generation or so, a new key idea (and buzzword) grips the imagination of an entire population of creatives," Intersection for the Arts explains. In this recent post, they share how the new millennium has arts leaders deeply re-thinking location, both physical and virtual; as a vehicle equally for commerce and culture; in terms of architecture as well as inhabitants.

Intersection is further exploring these new territories with their new home at 5M - a location that's often referred to as the "hinge" because it sits between and connects a number of neighborhoods yet doesnt have an identity of it's own. This undefined area is truly unexplored territory - for art and for placemaking - that as Intersection's Kevin Chen says, “breeds the possibilities and that’s just the beautiful thing.”
